Skills and Qualifications:

Defines and drives enterprise data architecture strategy across the business unit. Leads Architectural thinking across transformation programmes, influences executive stakeholders, and embeds modern data practices and cloud technologies at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for data architecture across the relevant business unit.

• Lead wide-scale adoption of modern data architectures (e.g. data mesh, data[1]as-a-product).

• Architect and govern cloud data platforms, migration strategies, and cost[1] optimised solutions. 

• Define and oversee implementation of data privacy, security, and entitlements frameworks.

• Drive integration of data management platforms for metadata, cataloguing, and classification.

• Influence technology leaders and executive stakeholders to align data strategy with business goals.

• Represent data architecture in regulatory, compliance, and strategic forums.

• Inspire and mentor architecture teams, fostering innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of projects and cross-functional deliverables for Senior Data Architect.
• Collaborate closely with departmental peers and stakeholders to ensure seamless operational continuity.
• Monitor core performance KPIs, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement optimization protocols.
• Champion high quality standards, peer reviews, and comprehensive team documentation.
