Role – RPA – UI Path – Capital Markets/Investment Banking Domain

Location – Mumbai

Years of Experience – 5-9 years

 

Role Overview

This role’s primary mandate is to transform the execution of risk deliverables through automation, reducing manual touchpoints, enhancing control, and improving operational efficiency. The candidate will partner with Operations, Risk, and Technology teams to assess processes, identify automation opportunities, and deliver scalable solutions aligned to the firm’s strategic transformation agenda.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Automation Delivery
    • Evaluate current processes across the book of work, with a focus on eliminating manual intervention and reducing operational risk
    • Design, build, and implement automation solutions using firm-supported tools
    • Deliver automation outcomes aligned to defined efficiency, control, and accuracy objectives
  • Process Assessment & Transformation
    • Conduct end-to-end process reviews to identify inefficiencies, data gaps, and control weaknesses
    • Develop process maps and support re-engineering initiatives to enable automation
    • Drive a “simplify before automate” approach across workflows
  • Project Planning & Execution
    • Create and manage project plans for automation initiatives, including milestones, dependencies, and timelines
    • Track delivery against automation goals, ensuring alignment with team priorities
    • Provide regular progress updates and escalate risks where required
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Collaborate with Operations, Risk, and Technology stakeholders to understand requirements and validate solutions
    • Communicate progress, challenges, and outcomes effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Governance & Continuous Improvement
    • Ensure solutions meet firm standards for controls, audit readiness, and sustainability
    • Contribute to building a pipeline of automation opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives

 

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably within Operations, Automation, or Transformation roles
  • Prior experience in automation-led transformation of reporting or operational processes
  • Strong hands-on experience with firm-supported automation tools (e.g., UiPath, Alteryx, Power Automate / Power BI)
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end automation projects, from requirement gathering through deployment
  • Experience in process mapping, workflow redesign, and data-driven problem solving
  • Solid project management capability with experience managing delivery timelines and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail

  • Understanding of Fixed Income products and operations workflows
  • Familiarity with data workflows involving extraction, transformation, and reporting

  • Delivery of automation initiatives in line with defined project plans and timelines
  • Improved data quality, control environment, and reporting efficiency
  • Contribution to scaling automation adoption across the team

 

 

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of projects and cross-functional deliverables for RPA - UIPath/Automation.
• Collaborate closely with departmental peers and stakeholders to ensure seamless operational continuity.
• Monitor core performance KPIs, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement optimization protocols.
• Champion high quality standards, peer reviews, and comprehensive team documentation.
